Great for a family or folks on a budget

The layout and pricing make it great for a family or folks traveling on a budget. The shotgun design of the house (LR+kitchen --> BR --> BR --> BR with no hallway) means individuals don't get much privacy, as the first two bedrooms must serve as a pass-through for the master bedroom. While less well-appointed than some other houses for rent on Catalina, the basics are all there and the tradeoff is a lower rental price. And the amenities and atmosphere provided by the town and island are the same regardless of the structure you're sleeping in. Please note that the sole table will only seat 4, making group dinners difficult.

This house was perfect for our family with a baby, 2 toddlers and an 8 year old. The kids loved the bedroom with the 2 pull out beds. The house was clean and reasonably priced. It is located on a quiet street and very close to a park which was perfect for the kids. I would consider renting it again next year.

This was perfect for our large family. We had adults in the backroom, 4 kids in the middle room, and 1 teenage in the front room. Like previously mentioned, the shotgun style limits privacy so for groups of adults it might not be the right fit. But for a family (with kid friends joining), it was good value for the pricing.

This is a quaint three bedroom, 1 3/4 bath cottage located approximately three blocks from downtown and the beach. The three bedrooms are classic Catalina tandem bedrooms (queen, twins with trundles, queen MBR/full bath) with an open floor plan for the living space. This home will sleep a maximum of 8. You will find a new flat panel TV in the living area and a fully equipped kitchen with a pass through window/counter. No smoking, please. 331D

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).
